DearlyGifted operates at dearlygifted.com and provides personalized digital song creation services. For privacy-related requests, contact support@dearlygifted.com.

When you use DearlyGifted, we may collect the following information:

• Customer contact details: your email address and, if you provide it, your name as the gifter
• Recipient details: the recipient's name and your relationship to them
• Personal stories and order details: occasions, dates, memories, qualities, messages, song preferences (genre, vibe, language, singer style), and other quiz answers you submit
• Payment and transaction references: order amount, currency, order number, payment status, and transaction IDs from our payment processors — including Razorpay for customers in India and Dodo Payments for international customers. We do not store full card numbers, UPI PINs, or CVV codes.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, operating system, referral URL, and general usage data when you visit our website
• Analytics and advertising data: page views, conversion events, campaign identifiers, and similar data collected through tools such as Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, Meta Pixel, Microsoft Advertising (UET), and related server-side conversion APIs where enabled
• Support and communication data: emails, chat messages, and information you send when contacting us
• Marketing preferences: whether you opted in to promotional or reminder emails at checkout

We use your information to:

• Create personalized lyrics and produce your custom song from the details you submit
• Process payments, confirm orders, and prevent fraud
• Deliver your song by email and through private download and track-order pages
• Provide customer support, revisions, and refunds
• Send order updates, delivery notifications, and — if you opt in — marketing or reminder emails
• Improve our website, quiz, production workflow, and customer experience
• Measure advertising performance and understand how visitors use our site
• Comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations

To create your song, we process the information you submit using artificial intelligence and third-party service providers. Depending on your order, this may include AI providers and production platforms used for lyric writing, lyric review, audio generation, cover artwork, and quality checks — for example OpenAI, OpenRouter, MusicGPT, Google Lyria, or similar services we use from time to time.

These providers process your order content only as needed to fulfil your request. We do not sell your quiz answers or personal stories to AI providers for their own unrelated training or marketing purposes.

Payment information is processed directly by our payment partners. DearlyGifted does not receive or store your full payment card details.

• International customers: payments are processed by Dodo Payments. Dodo receives the payment information needed to complete your transaction and may process refunds according to its own policies and our instructions.
• Customers in India: payments are processed by Razorpay under Razorpay's terms and privacy practices.

We share information only where necessary to operate our service, including with:

• Payment processors — Razorpay and Dodo Payments
• Cloud hosting and database providers — including Supabase for order storage
• Email delivery providers — for order confirmations and delivery emails
• AI, audio, and production providers — to generate lyrics and audio for your order
• Analytics and advertising partners — such as Google, Meta, and Microsoft, where enabled
• Email marketing providers — such as Klaviyo, where you have opted in or where permitted
• Customer support tools — such as Crisp live chat, when you use them
• Background job and automation providers — to process orders and send notifications
• Professional advisers or authorities — where required by law

We require service providers to handle personal information appropriately and only for the purposes described in this policy.

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above:

• Order and quiz information: retained while your order is active and afterwards for support, dispute resolution, and legal compliance — typically up to 7 years for financial and legal records
• Delivered song files on our servers: hosted audio files are kept for the same 90-day period as your download link, then removed from active storage as part of routine cleanup
• Download links and private download pages: remain available for up to 90 days after delivery unless extended by support
• Marketing and analytics data: retained according to the settings of the relevant tools and our operational needs

You should download and keep your MP3 promptly. If your link expires or a hosted file is no longer available, contact us and we will try to help where possible.

We treat your custom song and the personal stories behind it as private order content. We do not use your delivered song in advertising, on our homepage, or in social media without your separate permission.

If we ask to feature an excerpt, preview, testimonial, or sample of your order, we will request your consent first. You may decline without affecting fulfilment of your order.

We use HTTPS encryption, access controls, and reputable service providers to protect your information. However, no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, restrict, or delete personal information we hold about you.

To request deletion or exercise another privacy right, email support@dearlygifted.com with your order number and the email used at checkout. We may need to retain certain records where required for legal, tax, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution purposes — for example completed payment records.

Typical response time: 1–2 business days.

DearlyGifted is operated from India and may use service providers in other countries. Where information is transferred internationally, we take reasonable steps to protect it in line with applicable law.

DearlyGifted is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us so we can delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
